to console the Hearts of Jesus and
Mary.

of Consecration for New Consolers.
Notice
On the second line there is an
“I” followed by a series of dots. Please
Pause at this point, and in the silence of your heart say your
name.
As
I stand in this holy place, in the presence of the Holy Trinity and all
the Heavenly Courts. I…………..desire to consecrate myself to Your
United Hearts today; dear Jesus and Mary.
I do so for
the purpose of consoling, making reparation and atonement for the sins
committed against Your Sacred and Eucharistic Heart, my Dearest Jesus,
and Your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, Dearest Mother Mary, for the
salvation of all sinners. I desire a greater love and compassion for
Your Suffering Hearts, and for all
Your people.
I ask of Your Two Hearts, the grace and
strength to keep me true to my commitment as a Consoler. I offer myself
totally, from the first moment of my conception to the last moment of my
life; for the honour and glory of God, and for my salvation. Mary
Dearest Mother, I ask You to purify my love and actions, and unite me
with the Triumphant in Heaven, the suffering souls in Purgatory, and all
the Consolers on the earth, in honoring Your Sacred Hearts.
Dear
Saint Joseph, assist me to be faithful, as You were to Jesus and Mary.
In moments of trial, help me to imitate You in saying “YES”
(Mary’s Fiat) so that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Christ may
live in me to the glory of God the Father.
AMEN.
Please
hold your cross in the palm of your hand while Father gives the
following blessing
Priest:
My dear brothers and sisters, we are here for the blessing of a
new cross. Let us
venerate in faith, the eternal plan by which God has made the
cross of Christ
the pre- eminent sign of His
mercy.
As we look upon the cross, let us
call to mind that on it, Christ brought to
completion the sacrament of His
love for the Church.
As we bow before the cross, let
us remember that in His own blood Christ has
removed all division and out of
many nations created the one people of God.
As we venerate the cross, let us
reflect that we are Christ’s disciples and must
therefore follow Him, willingly taking up our own
personal cross each
day.
Let us, then, take part with all our hearts in this celebration, so that
we may
grasp the mystery of the cross more clearly and experience its power
more
deeply.
PRIEST SPRINKLES CROSSES WITH HOLY
WATER, LIFTS HIS HANDS AND
PRAYS.
Lord, your
son reconciled us to you by suffering on the cross and then returned to
You in
glory.
May your people who carry this cross as a sign of redemption, find in it
protection
and strength,
May they shoulder their own
crosses in the spirit of the Gospel until their journey
ends.
We ask this
through Christ our Lord.
All:
Amen.
PRIEST
LAYS HANDS ON HEAD OF EACH CONSOLER AND SAYS THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL
ANOINTING PRAYER.
Priest:
May the blessing of Almighty God, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit
descend
upon you and strengthen you to carry out your commitment as a
Consoler of the
United Hearts of Jesus and Mary Lay Apostolate.
All: Amen.
Priest:
May God who is blessed above all, bless you in all things through
Christ, so that
whatever happens in your lives will
work together for your good.
All: Amen.
PRIEST (EXTENDS FORMAL BLESSING)
And may Almighty God bless you
The Father, and the Son,
And the Holy Spirit.
All: AMEN.
Priest: Now go forth in the love
and grace of God, and in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, as a
member of this beautiful
Apostolate:
(Please kindly return to your seats, as we
continue with the Holy
Mass)
GOD BLESS.

Consolers
Daily Consecration
Dear
Jesus and Mary, I wish to renew the consecration of myself to your
United Hearts today. I offer my day in reparation and in atonement,
in order to console Your Hearts for the many insults and injuries which
will afflict You by uncaring souls throughout the world.
I desire to console You through
fervent prayer, sacrifices and good works; through my commitment as a
Lay Consoler. I do so in union with each Loved Member of our Lay
Apostolate. How sincerely I desire, through my consecration, to draw
souls to You.
I pray my Guardian Angel will carry my oblation to You in
Heaven and place it before Your Throne. May it be a gift of Love which
will console Your Hearts today and forever.
Amen.
